AUDITIONS: Auditions for the 2026-2027 PLT Musical Theatre Company are Friday, September 11th

PLT Musical Theatre Company is Pensacola Little Theatre’s pre-professional musical theatre performance group.  This audition-only company will perform at fundraisers and various events throughout the year.  Every student accepted will be featured in either a solo, duet, dance, or small group number.  PLT is seeking all levels of dancers and singers to make up this elevated student performance company. Directed by former Wicked performer, Brenda Jean Hamilton, this course brings elevated Broadway expertise to the student experience.  Accepted students will experience advanced performance techniques, vocal coaching, dance training, and other skills found on Broadway stages.  The PLT Musical Theatre company provides a professional training experience, while still maintaining a safe space to grow and learn.  This course is perfect for students considering college theatre programs as well as a professional career on stage.  The program is also great for confidence building and intrapersonal skills that transfer to any career.  Come find your theatre community, build new relationships, and make new friends.

What to prepare 

SINGERS: 1 Uptempo Contemporary Musical Theatre or Pop Song Cut 
(30 second to 1 minute cut, memorized), have an instrumental track ready.
Be prepared for a brief movement audition after singing (dance or gym clothes recommended)

DANCERS: Come prepared to dance. OPTIONAL: Prepare a chorus of your favorite pop song
