ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TEAM

Tom is an accomplished Music Director, Voice Instructor, and accompanist who has collaborated with professional theatre companies such as PenArts and Emerald Coast Theatre Company, community theatres like Pensacola Little Theatre, and collegiate programs including the University of West Florida’s BFA Musical Theatre and Pensacola State College. With a flexible skill set, Tom serves as accompanist, vocal coach, arranger, and conductor based on the needs of each production. His recent credits include Hello Girls (PenArts), Big Fish, Floyd Collins, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Illyria(UWF), Fiddler on the Roof (Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee), and Disney’s Descendants, 13, and Mary Poppins (PLT).

DESTINY HOWARD - ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR

Her most recent role was Alice Russell in the professional production of Lizzie the Musical at PenArts. She also helps direct the middle school musicals at Creative Learning Academy, where they recently did Newsies Jr.
CHOH MAN TENG - LIGHTING DESIGNER
Choh Man learned to design lights right here at PLT. Starting from her first show, which consisted of a total of one light change, she has now been lighting increasingly complex stories, sometimes with over 200 cues. Her favorite designs at PLT include Switzerland and The Addams Family. She enjoys exploring the infinite nuances of lights and shadows and how they can deepen the narrative. If you ever mention lights to her, she will talk your ear off.
JEANETTE GIBSON - COSTUMER
Jeanette Gibson has always loved to sew and quilt, but her busy schedule left little time for her creative passions. Upon retiring, she knew exactly how she wanted to spend her time—volunteering in the costume department at Pensacola Little Theatre. Her first show was The Hobbit in 2014, and since then, she has contributed her talents to at least one production every year. For Jeanette, it’s a true joy to collaborate with the many incredible volunteers who help bring outstanding theatre to the community.

An avid dancer and arts advocate they unwind by immersing themselves in flow arts, gaming, anime, Star Wars, and comic books.

Anthony has been longing to be a part of a golden age again, and he's ecstatic to have been cast in this show that so many people love.
Director, Stephen C. Lott
From the Director
This is probably not the Camelot you are expecting. There is no castle, wizard or dog. The show has been reimagined as a traveling troupe who perform in found spaces, like an empty theater, to share their story. The script has been adapted by David Lee, a nine-time Emmy Award winner and one of the creators of the shows like Frasier and Wings. He
stripped away the pageantry of men in tights and women in pointy hats (and cut two hours off the run time) and focused on the relationships and ideals of the show.
Camelot tells of striving for an ideal, a perfect world that seems unattainable yet is worth pursuing. Arthur’s dream of a society founded on equality and justice feels both aspirational and cautionary, echoing the ongoing struggles in our world today. In a time of division and uncertainty, Camelot invites us to reflect on what we believe a world should look like—and what happens when our lofty ideals are tested by the complexities of human nature.
The love triangle at the heart of the story between Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot speaks to the vulnerability and imperfection of even the most noble of people. Their choices and their flaws expose the fragility of trust and the consequences of betrayal. This human element is a universal one, reminding us that even the most well-intentioned individuals are not immune to their own desires, weaknesses, and mistakes.
Ultimately, Camelot reminds us that the pursuit of a better world is not a journey of perfect solutions, but a series of imperfect steps taken by imperfect people. Today, as in the time of King Arthur, we must ask ourselves: what kind of world do we wish to create, and how will we, in all our flawed humanity, work together to bring it to life?
Camelot is not just a story of the past, but a call to each of us to reflect on our own values, our own dreams, and the legacy we leave behind.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Stephen has been a consistent volunteer at PLT for the past three decades. Although in recent years, he has been more active as a director of shows such as The Addams Family, Moana Jr., Mary Poppins, and Shrek the Musical. He was last seen on stage as Mark Rothko in the Studio 400 production of Red.
