from the director

Collaborating with other artists is one of my favorite things. The hundreds of hours this talented cast, crew, and production team have collectively spent creatively building this show was a team effort in every way. I am thrilled to work with each and every one of them. What a privilege! I fell in love with Disney’s animated version of The Little Mermaid years ago. The beautiful and catchy music is what drew me in, and it has stood the test of time. In our production, you will hear the classics such as “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World,” but you will also hear some new added treasures such as “Positoovity,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “If Only.”

Our story is colorful and magical—a feast for the eyes—but I hope you also discover the heart of it. You’ll find a prince searching for true love, a young mermaid longing to discover where she belongs, a father who loves deeply but struggles to let go, and loyal friends who support one another through every adventure. It’s more than just a fairytale romance; it’s a story about acceptance, belonging, friendship, family, and unconditional love.

We can’t create magic without an audience! Thank you for joining us on this fairytale adventure! As we travel under the sea together, I hope you laugh, smile, and find joy in our storytelling.
