PERFECT ARRANGEMENT

STUDIO 400 - MATURE THEMES AND LANGUAGE

Directed by Renee Jordan // January 30 - February 8, 2026

Beneath the pristine surface of 1950s suburbia, two U.S. government employees are hiding a secret—and each other. In Perfect Arrangement, Topher Payne blends quick-witted comedy with sharp social commentary as two seemingly traditional couples struggle to keep up appearances while navigating the threat of the Lavender Scare. As the walls close in, farce turns to revelation in this bold, stylish play about identity, conformity, and the high cost of living a lie.

*This show is intended for a mature audience.

RENEE JORDAN

A fan of the PLT stage, she has recently been seen as Jean in POTUS, Vern in Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche and Agatha Christie in Little Wars. Cast

LAYNIE GIBSON AS NORMA BAXTER

Laynie has been active in the Pensacola comedy scene for over a decade, performing with Improvable Cause, Pensacola's premier improv comedy troupe. She was previously seen in Studio 400's productions of A Sleeping Country and Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche. Offstage, Laynie works in private practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Group Psychotherapist. A lifelong arts and storytelling enthusiast, she is thrilled to play with this incredible cast and crew.

NATHAN SIMMONS AS JIM BAXTER

Nathan is excited to return to Studio 400 to help tell this relevant and poignant story. His recent roles at PLT include Bottom in Somebody to Love (A musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which he also co-directed with his wife), Lancelot in Camelot, and Roger in Rent. When Nathan's not acting up on stage, he co-hosts The Silver Linings Playlist podcast and records music with his band, The Fever // The Rage.

MAUREEN MCNEILL AS MILLIE MARTINDALE

Maureen holds a BA in Theatre from Florida State University. She has become a familiar face in Studio 400's most popular productions. She is best known for her comedic turn as Dale in Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche and her dynamic performance as Arrabelle in Nebula of Georgia. For both roles, she was honored with Artistic Excellence Awards recognizing her standout work on stage.

ANTHONY MOWAD AS BOB MARTINDALE

Anthony is excited to return to Studio 400 as a part of this important and timely production. His last appearance in a Studio 400 show was in Taking Stock, and Perfect Arrangement has been a delightful reunion with many of the people who brought that show to life. Since then, Anthony has appeared in other PLT productions, such as playing Theseus in Somebody to Love and Cromwell in A Man for All Seasons. Additionally, he played Albert in Santa Rosa Community Theatre's production of The Dinner Party. He offers his greatest thanks and appreciation to his fellow cast members, Renee, and the crew that make this show possible. And, as always, all his love to his fantastic wife, SarahBeth.

JASON PRIVETT AS THEODORE "TED" SUNDERSON

Mr. Privett is pleased to return to his PLT roots with this Studio 400 performance. He was last seen as a participant in PLT's 24 Hour Theatre event, The Cat's Meow, and Dracula: A Real Pain in the Neck.

ELEANORE ARMANI AS BARBARA GRANT

Eleanore is excited to be back in PLT's Studio 400 space, where she was most recently seen as Hypolita in Somebody to Love. She has performed in several Studio 400 shows, including POTUS, Incurruptible, Short Attention Span Theater, Little Wars, Mindgame, and Taking Stock. She was seen as Judy in PLT's Mainstage production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. She is also involved in other local theater and film projects around the Pensacola area.

JESSICA WADE AS KITTY SUNDERSON

Jessica Wade has been volunteering with PLT since 2005. She has worn many hats as an actor, dancer, director, costumer, member of the artistic committee, and former board member. Jessica was last seen on stage in PLT's 24 Hour Theatre event and as Miss Scarlet in Clue: On Stage.
