Puffs

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs, who also happened to be there. A fast-paced romp through the Seven Increasingly Eventful Years giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers.

PUFFS was developed in part during a residency with the University of Florida School of Theatre & Dance, Jerry Dickey, School Director.

Ryan Ward as Wayne

Hiiii! Ryan is so excited to return to the PLT stage after a five-year absence. His favorite productions at PLT include Dearly Departed and Noises Off. P.S. He is actually a Hufflepuff.

Zander Smith as Oliver Rivers

Hiiii!! This is Zander's second show with Pensacola Little Theatre, his first being The Addams Family, where he was the Assistant Music Director. Zander has previously been seen on stage in Newsies (Jack Kelly) and Grease (Danny Zucko) with Navarre High School. Some other favorite roles include The Baker (Into the Woods), Dennis (All Shook Up), Willard (Footloose), and Lucas (The Addams Family).

Rowan McCollum as Megan

Rowan comes to us fresh from her stint playing Seymour in her high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, and she previously played Naomi in 21 Chump Street. She also starred as Stepmother in Into the Woods and Stuart in Beyond Therapy at Pensacola High School.

Cliff Pressley as Narrator

Cliff has been making magic with PLT for over a decade and is happy to be on-stage doing it again with this hilarious cast. They've all divided into houses, but he identifies as half-giant. If anyone wants to talk good fantasy, modern or otherwise, he's available for discussion.

Steve McHaley as Ernie Mac/ Ensemble

Hiiiii! Steve is ecstatic to be back on his favorite stage. Though at heart, he is a proud "Snake," he loves his new "Puff" family dearly. You may have seen Steve in some of his favorite past roles at Pensacola Little Theatre, such as The Feast and Dog Sees God.

Delaney Keeton as J. Finch/Ensemble

After five years, Delaney is very excited to be back on stage! Previously, she performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Pensacola Little Theatre and in Seussical the Musical at Tate High School as The Cat in the Hat.

Lindsay Riddle as Hannah/Ensemble

Hiii! Lindsay Riddle (no, not that Riddle) is thrilled to be part of Puffs! Lindsay is an elementary school teacher by day and choreographer for Pensacola Children's Chorus by night. She was last seen at Pensacola Little Theatre in The Addams Family (Ancestor).

Sarah Smith as Susie/Ensemble

After a long five-year hiatus, Sarah is excited to return to the Pensacola Little Theatre stage. Over that time, you may have seen her on PSC's or UWF's stages while completing her BFA in Musical Theatre. Most recently, Sarah played the role of Sherlock Holmes in The Hounds of Baskerville at PSC. Before that, she enjoyed roles in Fiddler on the Roof, Once Upon a Mattress, 42nd Street, and Shrek the Musical.

Crystal Dunning as Leanne/Ensemble

Although Crystal is a "Snake," she is excited to show her inner “Puff" in her second show at Pensacola Little Theatre. She was last seen in The Addams Family as an Ancestor and is excited to continue her PLT journey with this magical show.

Kayla Phillips as Sally Perks/ Ensemble

Kayla is very excited to be back on stage with Pensacola Little Theatre. She recently served on the tech crew for The Addams Family and was Assistant Director of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jr. She was last seen performing in Unrequited. Kayla is also an instructor at Pensacola Little Theatre. She hopes you will enjoy the show. Puff Hug!

Tilden whitfield as Cedric/Mr. Voldy

Tilden isn’t “puffing” around when he says he’s excited to be gracing the PLT stage once again! He was last seen in Miracle on 34th Street as J. Mara and rumor has it he’s here to play for a little while!

About THE DIRECTOR

A native of Pensacola, Brandi has been active at Pensacola Little Theatre since her debut as one of the 3 Blind Mice in Mini Masquers Babes in Toyland in 1989. After high school, she realized that working behind the scenes was where her interests actually lie, and has been mostly in backstage roles since then. She serves on the Treehouse and Artistic Committees here at PLT. Some of the titles she's directed include Snoopy! The Musical, Night Watch, and Dracula: A Real Pain in the Neck. Her other passion is stage managing, which she has done on shows such as The Addams Family, Cinderella, and Mary Poppins. Brandi has had a fantastic time working with this cast and was thrilled to get to direct this parody of one of her favorite series.
