Director, Carla Rhodes

From THE DIRECTOR

On the surface, Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School to win him back.   But stories, like life, can take a turn.  Instead of winning back her man, she meets new friends who help her realize what she is capable of.   Her journey to find her love turns into a journey to find herself.  And as Elle says in the original movie, “You must always have faith in people.  And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself!” I hope this is a story we can all be inspired by.  Enjoy!!! - Carla Rhodes

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Carla is a long-time Pensacola Little Theatre volunteer. Some of her favorite onstage roles include Mildred (Cemetary Club) and Ethel (Footloose). She most recently directed A Chorus Line and Mamma Mia! and is an active member of the PLT Artistic Committee.
