CLASS ROOM SAFETY

As health guidelines and practices change, PLT remains committed to the safety and well-being of its patrons, students, and volunteers. Masks are still one of the most effective ways to slow the spread of infectious respiratory diseases for those who have not yet been vaccinated.

A large part of what our instructors teach is theatre etiquette and respect for personal space. Bullying, harassment, and non-consensual physical contact between students, instructors, volunteers, and staff are strictly prohibited and any individual found to be in violation of this policy may be required to withdraw from classes or other building activities on a case by case basis.

Security is a major concern for all organizations and PLT is no exception. For the safety of all of our patrons and volunteers, no firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed in our building. Security staff is located in the box office after 5 PM on weekdays and during weekend events. Additionally, students under the age of 10 must be accompanied into the building by a parent or guardian. All students over the age of 10 may be dropped off at the north entrance of the building on the corner of Jefferson St and Zaragoza St.
