SUMMER STARS: Shrek the Musical Kids
June 1st -June 20th and July 7th -July 25th
Ages 8–16 | $750
Monday - Friday | 9 AM - 3 PM

Final performance: Saturday following the last week at 12:00 pm

Get ready to sing, dance, laugh, and shine at Summer Stars, our high-energy, joy-filled musical theatre camp, featuring Shrek Kids—a 30-minute version of the beloved Broadway hit! This three-week camp is the perfect place for young performers to jump into the magical world of theatre while having an absolute blast.

About the show:
On the first day of camp, students who are interested in auditioning can audition for solo or leading roles—but no matter what, every camper is guaranteed a role in the production. From ogres and donkeys to fairy tale creatures galore, everyone gets their moment in the spotlight!
Throughout the camp, students will:
- Build vocal technique and learn music with our Music Director - - Learn fun choreography and foundational dance skills with our Choreographer
- Develop acting technique, confidence, and stage blocking with our Director

This camp is designed to be super fun, supportive, and welcoming, making it an amazing way to get your feet wet in theatre—or level up your skills if you already love the stage.

STAGE SPROUTS SUMMER SESSION

Welcome to Stage Sprouts, a playful, imagination-packed theatre camp specially designed for our youngest performers! This three-week camp is the perfect first step into the world of acting, where creativity, confidence, and FUN take center stage.

Through silly acting games, energetic song and dance, and lots of make-believe, campers will learn the fundamentals of acting while building teamwork and friendships along the way. Together, students will work toward their very own production, giving them a chance to shine on stage in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.

At Stage Sprouts, campers will:
- Learn basic acting skills through fun, interactive games
- Build confidence and teamwork with ensemble-building activities
- Sing, move, and dance to exciting music
- Use their imagination and creativity every single day
- This camp is high-energy, nurturing, and designed to keep little ones engaged, moving, and smiling!

LAB RATS DEVISED THEATRE CAMPS
Camp 1 (Ages 8-11): June 1st -June 5th
Camp 2 (Ages 12-16):June 8th -June 12th

Welcome to Lab Rats, the ultimate playground for creative minds and bold imaginations! This one-week devised theatre camp is all about experimenting, collaborating, and creating something totally original—no script required. On the very first day, campers become theatre scientists, brainstorming ideas and working together with their instructor to invent a brand-new short show from scratch. Along the way, each student will create their own original character and help shape the story, style, and world of the piece.

The week culminates in a final performance for parents and guests during the last 15 minutes of camp on Friday, where campers get to show off the wild, creative world they’ve built together. With two age-based sessions (ages 8–11 and ages 12–16), Lab Rats is designed to challenge and inspire both younger campers discovering theatre and older students ready to dig deeper into storytelling and collaboration.

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE TECHNIQUES SUMMER SESSION
June 22nd -June 26th

Monday - Friday | 1 PM - 4 PM

Step up your dance skills and bring Broadway to life! Musical Theatre Dance Techniques focuses on the fundamentals of musical theatre movement, from classic jazz steps to high-energy choreography. Perfect for young performers looking to refine their technique, improve stage presence, and build confidence in auditions and performances.

Prior dance experience is helpful but not required—just bring your passion for the stage!

IMPROV CAMP WITH TOPHER WARREN
June 22nd -June 26th
Ages 12–16 | $250
Monday - Friday | 2 PM - 5 PM

Ready to sharpen your wit and unleash your creativity? Join Improv with Topher Warren, PLT’s Education Director and a member of Pensacola’s premier professional improv troupe, Improvable Cause! This high-energy class teaches the fundamentals of improvisation, including quick thinking, teamwork, and storytelling—all while having a blast.

No scripts, no pressure—just pure fun and endless possibilities!
