The play takes place on an island off the coast of Devon in mid-1940s England, where eight people of different social classes journey to the Soldier Island mansion, having been invited there by a Mr. and Mrs. Owen. Upon arriving, they are told by the butler and his wife that their hosts are currently away. They discover a copy of the Nursery Rhyme "10 Little Indians". Once they are all gathered a voice is heard informing the ten that all of them are guilty of murder, though in each case they were not sentenced to death or heavy prison terms since the nature of the killings meant that the law could not touch them. They realize they have all been tricked into coming to the island, but now cannot get back to the mainland, as the boat has left and there is no phone to call anyone back. Then, one by one they are murdered according to a verse in the rhyme.

One of the world's most loved Agatha Christie Mysteries, And Then There Were None will keep you guessing until the very end!
